Sandra Lavender Atherton, age 78, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, from Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Athens, GA on June 3, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Rufus T. and Annette Stamey Lavender.
She is survived by her husband, her children, two brothers, two sisters, beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
