Carlton - Sam Diaz, age 62, died June 23, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born in McAllen, Tx. to the late Samuel George and Mary Gleason Diaz. He had just recently retired from Ace Putzler Electrical Contractors as an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Floyd Diaz; two children, David Diaz and Mary Beth Diaz of Carlton; and a very special friend, Adam Leach of Carlton; one brother, Franklin Edward Diaz of Charlotte, NC.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Lord and Stephens - Danielsville Chapel with Mr. Jeffery Floyd officiating.
Lord and Stephens - Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
