Carlton - Sally Sue Mills, 94, died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of William and Eula Nix. She retired after fifty years of service with Elberton Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Mills loved gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Jean Wedd Thomas of Crawford; sisters, Eula Kathryn Holcomb of Hull; and grandchildren, Michael Lee Thomas of Germany and James Kirk Thomas of Carlton.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Arnold officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Crawford , is in charge of arrangements.
