Sally D Cartwright

Sally D. Cartwright, who was born on July 12, 1932, passed away on September 26, 2026.

She attended Pasadena City College, an experience that formed part of the foundation for the path she would follow. She went on to serve as a legal secretary for JAG West Coast in San Francisco, and later moved to Washington, DC, where she worked for the U.S. Military Court of Appeals.

Beyond her work, Sally found joy in the quiet art of caring for and cultivating bonsai trees. She also loved horses and cats, interests that brought warmth to her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Dickie, and her mother, Ruth Dickie. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Woodrum, Eakle Cartwright, Carl Denton, and Cabel Cobbs.

Sally is survived by her son, Paul Cartwright, and by her daughter-in-law, Cilla Cartwright. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Paul Cartwright, Amanda Buckley, and great granddaughter Chloe Cartwright. May their memories of Sally bring comfort, gratitude, and lasting peace in the days ahead.
