Crawford, GA - Ruby B. Wheless, 78, passed away December 5, 2008.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Wheless lived in Crawford since 1942. She was a member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church and attended Edwards Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel. Interment will be in Crawford Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Grady Wheless; daughter, Barbara Polk of Crawford; two sons, Charles Wheless of Athens and Gary Wheless of Crawford; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Blanche Daniel of Panama City, FL, Mamie Aaron of Lexington and Anne Resmondo of Foley, AL; brother, Robert Hughes of Crawford.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
