Roy Fred Roddy Jr

Bishop, GA - Roy Fred Roddy, Jr., 59, died August 3, 2010.
A native of Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Bess L. Lipscomb and Roy F. Roddy, Sr. He was retired from Glaxo Smith Kline and was a member of Watkinsville First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Dr. Benny Littlejohn officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bankston Roddy; two children, Lauren Elizabeth Roddy and Ryan Jacob Roddy of Bishop; four sisters, Marion Gantt, Sarah (Gary) Durham, Bess (Wayne Powell) Andrews; Mary Ann (Richard) Wilson; brother, Vic (Margaret) Lipscomb; mother-in-law, Jane Bankston of Loganville; brother-in-law, Terry (Trudy) Bankston of Acworth.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
