Arthur Roy Parnell, 83, died January 30, 2020.
The son of the late Arthur R. and Christine Lloyd Parnell, Roy was a true patriot, having served in the United States Air Force. He was retired after many dedicated years of service at Georgia Square Mall and was a member of Christian Life Worship Center.
He is survived by his wife, Vonnie Pearson Parnell; and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eugene Pearson, Willette Jackson, Blenda Smith and Rebecca Bradberry and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Pastor Terry Kesling officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
