Roy Lee Dyer

Roy Lee Dyer, 81, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

Born in Blairsville, he was a son of the late Rance Andrew Dyer and Allie Dyer. Roy was employed with the Oglethorpe County Sheriff’s Office and was a member of Lexington Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of Lexington Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Dyer and Louise Melson.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Cunningham Dyer; three children, Charles Dyer, Cheryl Joines and Robert Dyer; four siblings, James Dyer, Alvin Dyer, Wayne Dyer and Florence Dyer; three grandchildren, Josh, Matthew and Mason.

No services are scheduled at this time.
