Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late John Candler and Eula Mae Elder Mathis. She was retired from Champion International.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Elder Cemetery.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Gail Austin (Steve) of San Diego, CA, Elaine Cash (Alan) of Loganville and Rita Coley (Lennard) of Winterville; sister, Sara M. Downs of Watkinsville; 5 grandchildren and loving caregivers, granddaughter, Misty Coley and Diane Carney.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Elder Cemetery Fund, c/o Evelyn Brown, 3550 Flat Rock Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
