Ronnie Ashley

Ronnie Ashley 82, husband of 59 years to Betty Hawkins Ashley, died on Monday, September 14, 2026.

A native of Greene County, Ronnie was the son of the late Ernest and Jessie Mae Ashley. He retired from American Pest Control and was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing guitar, especially the bass guitar.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons: Ronald Glenn Ashley and Kevin Harper (Claire) Ashley; grandchildren: Harper Ashley and Meg Ashley and sister-in-law Ann Hall.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 2PM at Athens Memory Gardens.
