Ronald Malcus James

Ronald Malcus James 70 of Athens, GA, passed away September 22, 2021. He was the son of the late, Garfield & Jacqueline James. Ronald grew up in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Athens when he was 44.

Funeral services are Monday, September 27, 2021, 12:00 pm at St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Anthony Salzman officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home, Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Oconee Memorial.

Mr. James was survived by his wife, Haregu Bahtu; Children, Weenta James, Hellen Tewelde, Futhum Tewolde, Wenjie Sun, Agazit Woldegabir and Mikaya Cooler; Grandchildren, Isiah Leshore,  Heavena Leshore, Brenda Leshore, Peyton Graves, Mila Tewelde,  Sofina Tewolde, Tamir Tewolde;  Sister, Sylvia James Finley (Ronald James Finley); Brothers,  Gerald A. James, Robert B.
