Ronald Lester Atherton “Ronnie”, 72, of Athens, passed away on January 15, 2024. Born on March 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Ward Stanley Atherton and Lillian Eloise Delk Atherton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife.
Ronnie attended Athens High School and was a part of the last graduating class of the 1970’s.
Survivors include his sister, Marty Atherton; step-mother, Nola Atherton.
At the family’s request, no memorial service will be held.
