Rodney J. Ducote

Rodney J. Ducote, 74, of Monroe, passed away on March 12, 2024. Born on January 31, 1950, he was the son of the late Clarence Ducote and Laura Gaubert Ducote.

Rodney was a veteran of the United States Navy, stationed on the USS Forrestal and served as an A-6E fighter pilot. He loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the North Georgia Mountain Riders.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ducote; children, Suzanne Harvey (Matt), Matt Ducote; sister, Diane Gimnich; grandchildren, Alexis Ducote, Addison Harvey, Katelynn Harvey.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, WEST, Watkinsville with Jay Suender officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
