Winterville - Robert Nathaniel Shockley, Jr., 87, of 215 S. Georgia Avenue, Winterville, died October 29, 2005.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Robert N., Sr. and Mollie Stephens Shockley. A resident of Winterville for 52 years and avid fisherman, Mr. Shockley was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was retired from Georgia Department of Agriculture.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Lula.
Survivors include a son, Michael S. Shockley of Winterville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
