Robert Grady Higdon, went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2018. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Delmar & Lucille Kimbrel Higdon; also preceded by siblings, Alice Faye H. Raustis, Elizabeth H. Odum, and James Higdon. Robert was a member of Elder Road Baptist Church for 37 years.
Funeral services are Thursday July 19, 2018 2:00pm at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Highway 53, Watkinsville with Rev. Carlton Shelton officiating. The family will visit at Oconee chapel Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The interment will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include: Wife of 53 years, Janelle Kitchens Higdon; children, Lisa (David) Smith, Kim (Billy) Tittle, Rhonda (Melvin Jr.) Tittle, Tina (Ken) Brown, Daniel (Nicole) Higdon; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Leslie (Pat) Higdon, Dottie H. Knepp, Connie H. Poulnott Carr and Virginia H. Jones.
In lieu of cut flowers please provide plants.
