Robert “Robby” Lee George, 50, of Winder, Georgia, passed away on July 29, 2025.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Dacula and Lawrenceville, Robby was a lifelong Georgia native who brought love, fun, humor, and passion to every part of his life. He had a deep love for live music, movies, comics, Star Wars, all things Halloween or horror-themed, tattoos and amusement parks. A lifelong comic fan, Robby had a special love for Spider-Man—his favorite superhero and the one he connected with most. He also cherished listening to records, watching The Rookie, and chasing the thrill of a great concert—no matter the distance. If a favorite band was playing, even hours away or in another state, Robby was going. He had a little reckless streak in the best way—acting first, thinking later—and that impulsive spirit is something those who loved him wouldn’t have changed for the world.

Above all, Robby was a devoted and loving father. His children—Devon, Dexter, Ian, and Presley—were the center of his world. He poured his heart into being present, playful, and supportive, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and adventure. Whether it was sharing favorite shows and music, going on fun outings, or just spending quiet time together, Robby found joy and purpose in being their dad. His love for them was unwavering, and he was incredibly proud of the people they are becoming.

Robby is also survived by his loving mother, Sandra Cooper, who stood by his side with constant love, encouragement, support, and strength.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his fierce love for his family and friends, and the way he made life a little more fun for everyone around him.

Robby shared an unbreakable bond with his best friend, Ashley Moore. Their friendship was filled with laughter, music, and countless shared memories. He also remained deeply connected to his two oldest friends, Steve Chapman and Terry Brand, whose lifelong friendships were filled with loyalty, stories, and shared history that spanned decades.

A celebration of Robby’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Robby’s memory by enjoying a favorite movie, playing a beloved song, or sharing a laugh with someone you love- and don’t forget to play the air drums or air shred that guitar till your arms give out!
