Rita Irene Johnson, 82, of Athens, died July 9, 2014.
She was born on August 19, 1931, Rita was the daughter of the late Jay B. Boyd and Thelma Estella Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ted W. Williams, second husband, Dr. Charles E. Johnson and granddaughter, Lisa S. Williams.

Survivors include her four sons: Robert L. Williams, James W Williams, Allen T. Williams, Jon. W. Johnson; two daughters: Pamela S. Wood, Jennifer L. Brownlee; two sisters: Virginia Crawford, Opal Christie; thirteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
