Rita Faye Carter, 90, of Watkinsville, died July 5, 2024.
Born in Cleburn, TX, she was the oldest of 4 children of the late Jake Campbell and Annie Marie Hudspeth. She was the mother of Sharon Carter, Billy David Carter, Adam Carter and Randy Carter and preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Carter and brother, Jackie Campbell. Rita is survived by her sister, Melba (Robert) Nazworth of Watkinsville, sister, Eva Brooks and brothers, Tarvin Rhodes and Ben (Colleen) Rhodes.
