Richard Staiger

Richard “Dick” Staiger, 93 years of age, of Watkinsville, died on January 5, 2019. He was retired from FAA, Federal Aviation Agency, in Washington , DC and Atlanta, GA. He was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in World War II. In addition to Joan, his wife of 72 years, survivors include his son, Mike (Nereida), and his daughter Debbie, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Foundation (TCF), PO Box 49309 Athens, GA 30604 or to St. Mary’s Hospice House, Watkinsville GA 30677.

His remains will be placed in a columbarium at the National Cemetery for Veterans in Canton, GA.
