Richard L. Morse, 67 of Athens, Ga. died Friday March 12, 2010
A lifelong residence of Athens, Mr. Morse was a son of the late Raymond and Willie Mae Dunn Morse. He owned and operated his own insurance company, Old Southern Insurance Co. since 1986. He served in the United States National Guard. Mr. Morse attended Grace Fellowship Church in Watkinsville, Ga.
A memorial service will be held Monday March 15, 2010 at 2 PM at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home WEST Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 on Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his daughter, Leigh Morse, Bogart sons Rick Morse, Bogart and Chris Morse, Athens, GA. Sister, Sharon Prevatte Hamlet, N.C. and brother, Steve Morse, Hamlet N.C. Two Grandchildren Sheffield Morse and Walker Morse
