Regis Thomas Bond

Regis Thomas Bond, 31, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Born in Athens, GA, on July 6, 1991, he was the son of Tammy and Wade Peters and Gary and Jeneine Bond. Regis attended Westminster Christian Academy and Athens Tech.  He was the Ranch Foreman for Brad and Vanessa Akins on their family farm. He was preceded in death by his sister: Ashley Michelle Bond; maternal grandmother: Jean Marshall; paternal grandfather: Floyd Thomas Bond; paternal grandmother: Zelma Mattox and aunts: Rita Audrey Caldwell, Connie Lynn McEver and Myranda Mattox.

Survivors in addition to his parents include the love of his life: Lydia Deanne Bond; children: Bently Thomas Bond, Brantlee Thomas Bond, William Mason Bond, Asher Morris Bond and Sutton Aimorie Bond; siblings: Christie (Steven) Phillips, Brittany (Zach) Fields, Berry Miller, Ethan Caldwell and Robbie Foy; maternal grandparents: Clete Marshall, Sr. and Ronald and Marie Peters; paternal grandparents: June Bond and Ray Mattox; aunts and uncles: Lisa (Michael) Edwards, Clete (Jill) Marshall, Jr., Scott Peters, Cindy Bond James.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2PM at Harmony Baptist Church, Monroe, GA with Pastors Billy Storms and Brant Calloway officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 5:00PM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, West Chapel.
