Athens - Ray Holloway, 62, died April 25, 2009.
A native of Alcorn County, Miss., he was a son of the late O. Willard and Mary Frances Ray Holloway. He retired from the Social Security Office in Athens and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an active member of LZ Friendly and the VFW.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 5 p.m. at the Statham Community Center.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; children, Kenneth (Chris) Holloway of Young Harris, Timothy Holloway of Athens, Ga., Jonathan (Christina) Holloway of Fort Stewart and Jacob Holloway of Athens; and four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kyle, Nicholas and William.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
