R.A. "Butch" Hilley

R.A. “Butch” Hilley, 75, husband of Vickie Brewer Hilley, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Born in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Edna Opal Porterfield Hilley. Butch graduated from Athens High in 1968 and afterward served in the Navy. Butch worked as a Printer, a Parapro with OCPS, and later in life as a Farmer. He was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Allen (Sarah Chadwick) Hilley, Bryan (Sarah Arnold) Hilley, and Christopher (Sarah) Hilley.

A memorial service celebrating Butch’s life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1PM at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA.
