Polly Ruth Simmons

Polly Ruth Simmons 86 of Colbert, GA, passed away June 2, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson & Maryann Patterson; also preceded in death by her husband, John Mell Simmons,Sr; a son, John Mell Simmons, Jr.;  grandson, John Mell Simmons III and three sisters and five brothers. Mrs. Simmons was a Loving mother and a Shrewd Financial Manager and Advisor to the family.

The family will visit at the funeral home Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Graveside service will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Danielsville Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Messarra officiating.

Survivors include Sons and Daughters, Gwen Marlow, Tina Simmons, Mike Simmons, and Grant Simmons; brother, June Patterson; grandchildren, Nicole Nunn, Andrew Marlow, and Jackie Nunn; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Marlow, Brooklyn Marlow, Jackson Marlow, Logan Marlow, and Ruby Nunn.
