Pinkie Mae Brutcher, born December 3, 1935, in Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away on February 2, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, steadiness, and care.

Pinkie was a dedicated homemaker and also worked as a floral arranger, sharing her creativity and eye for beauty with many. She earned her bachelor’s degree in medical administration from the Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville. She was known for her kindness, her quiet strength, and her devotion to her family.

She is survived by her son, Sam (Janet) Brutcher, Jr., whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Sam P. Brutcher, USMC, and her parents, Willie Eugene Wilson and Gertrude Wilson.

A graveside service will be held on February 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at West View Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Pinkie’s life.
