Phillip Digamon

Phillip Digamon, age 98, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026. He was born on April 11, 1928, in Oroquieta, Philippines, to the late Evaristo Digamon and Crescencia Ozaraga.

Along with his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his first wife, Anatolia Sy Keh Digamon; and second wife Permelia Bray Digamon. He attended college and, although he did not complete his degree, he built a long and meaningful career in healthcare, serving for many years at Northeast Cardiology. He was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication to caring for others.

Outside of work, Phillip found joy in bowling and gardening. Above all, he cherished time with his family. His greatest pride was being a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Annabelle K. Suratos, Marilyn Beltran, Evelyn Mercado, Dennis Digamon, Grace Fernandez, and Gay Chong, 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Phillip's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Athens, Georgia.

Phillip will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
