Peter Anderson, 70, of Bethlehem GA, formerly Bala Cynwyd, lost his battle with cancer on September 12th, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Peter was a 20-year Navy Veteran. He served his country and family proudly. Peter and his wife Debbie were married for 40 years. He survived a double lung transplant in 2019. He loved to spend time with his wife and family. Once he retired, he had his 12lb sidekick named Bella to keep him company. He was a diehard Philly’s fan, no matter the sport. Sundays in the fall meant it was time to get ready and put all of his Philadelphia Eagles gear and cheer them on.

Son of the late Terence J and Elizabeth (Derham) Anderson.

He is survived by his wife Debbie, children Peter, Nicole, Chris, Medina, and siblings Kathleen Anderson, SSJ, Patrica Mitala (Ronald), Karen Anderson-Wood (James), Joan Van Haute Zimmerman (Gerald), Terence Anderson (Mary), Michael Anderson, Kathleen Hardeman (Ken), John Stephansen(Lisa), Chris Stephansen, PJ Anderson, Jim Anderson (Alexis) and Steven Anderson (Melissa), along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by siblings Betsy Anderson, Mary Denise Bergh, and Kevin Anderson and Stepmother Mary Ellen Anderson.

The memorial for Peter’s life will be held on Friday October 3rd at 11am St. Matthew Catholic Church in Winder GA
