Peggy Jane Poss, 78, of Greensboro, died on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Born in Athens to the late Mitchell Scarborough and Cleo Clarke Scarborough, Peggy's passions included gardening, flowers, crocheting, and pets.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Jerrell Lee Poss; their four children: Gerald (Kathy) Poss, Patty (Steve) Chambers, Melissa (Jamey) Griffin, and Matthew Poss; as well as several siblings, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Lord and Stephens, East Chapel, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
