Peggy O. Smith

Peggy O. Smith, 76, of Hull, Ga died at her home on October 4, 2023.  The daughter of the late Claude and Lila O’Kelley of Athens, GA. Peggy is survived by her husband of 44 years, JR Smith, and her children; Darrin Cook (Sarah), Donna Hale (Rob), and Dana Smith.  Her grandchildren include Zachary Hale, Beatice Cook, Blake Rutledge (Samantha), Elijah Cook, and Braxton White (Shanna). Her siblings; Sue Melton, Betty Human (Jimmy), and George O’Kelley and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was a loving and devoted family person who cherished her dogs, enjoyed traveling with loved ones and had a special fondness of all things Christmas. Her love and wisdom will forever remain in our hearts and minds.

A celebration of life will be held at her house on Crabapple Hollow Rd, Saturday, October 7 at 1pm.
