Paul Terry Stephenson

Paul Terry Stephenson, born on February 27, 1954, in Commerce, GA, passed away on January 31, 2026. He dedicated his life to farming and found great joy working on the land as well as sharing his knowledge with others. Terry was known for his love of family. He enjoyed turkey hunting and traveling, embracing the beauty and experiences life had to offer. A member of Trinity Baptist Church, Terry’s faith was an important aspect of his life and guided him through his journey. He will be remembered for his commitment to his faith, family and community. Toward the end of his illness he reminded Judy frequently that he would be healed, if not on earth certainly in heaven.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Stephenson. He was a proud father to Joshua (Autumn) Stephenson and Jacob (Niki) Stephenson. He was also a loving grandfather to Snow, Oliver, Wylder, Dallas, and Sadie, who brought joy to his life. His siblings include Myron (Elaine) Stephenson and Elaine Blalock. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Red" Stephenson, his mother, Elizabeth Stephenson, and his brother-in-law, Tony Blalock. Visitation will be held on February 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 2411 U.S. 29, Danielsville, GA 30633. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place from 6:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Reach Together Building Fund, 2411 US 29 Danielsville, GA 30633.
