Paul Douglas Hawkins

Paul Hawkins, 79, of Jefferson, passed away on January 20, 2026.

Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of the late J.T Hawkins and Clara Porterfield. In his free time, he enjoyed playing piano and guitar; but nothing was more important than being with his beautiful family, especially his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Audrey Hawkins; sons, Andy Hawkins (Kim) and Doug Hawkins; and granddaughters, Chloe Hawkins and Caitlyn Hawkins.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service for Mr. Paul Hawkins will begin at 10 AM, Saturday, February 7th 2026, at Crossroads Community Church off Hwy 29 in Athens. (550 Harve Mathis Rd)
