Patrick Michael Halloran, 72, of Arnoldsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, surrounded by the love that defined his life.

Born on May 2, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Pat was the beloved son of William and Nancy Halloran. From an early age, he carried within him a quiet strength, a deep faith, and a heart devoted to those he loved.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Marsha Gable Halloran, the love of his life and steadfast partner in all things. He also leaves behind his cherished children, Shannon Halloran Dalton (Roy), and Shane Patrick Halloran (Liz), whom he loved so deeply and held especially close to his heart, and whom were his pride and joy. His legacy continues through his six adored grandchildren—Jackson Roy Patrick (Ally), Abigail Vivian, Gabriel Patrick, Hank Patrick, Garrett Halloran, and Chase Michael—and his precious great-grandson, Bryson Cole, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy.

Pat is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Terry (Kathy), Eileen, and Billy (Victoria), as well as his niece Monica and nephews Mark and Billy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jimmy and Joey, whom he now rejoins in eternal peace.

A man of deep and abiding faith, Pat loved the Lord with all his heart. As a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church in Arnoldsville, he served as a deacon and head of security, but perhaps most meaningfully, he served as a welcoming presence at the door—greeting each person with warmth, sincerity, and a genuine smile that made everyone feel at home.

Pat’s love for his family extended far beyond words—it was seen in the life he built, the traditions he kept, and the way he showed up, day after day. He found great joy on his farm, where he cared for his two quarter horses, Duke and Fella, and his three loyal boxers, Maggie, Mollie, and Maddie. The land was not just his livelihood, but part of his soul.

A true romantic at heart and a visionary in spirit, Pat lived life fully and without hesitation. He traveled the world—from Vietnam to Africa—always seeking to learn, experience, and grow. He studied stone carving and sculpture in Taos, New Mexico, embracing both creativity and craftsmanship. He challenged himself physically, climbing the stairs to the top of the Empire State Building three years in a row, and treasured simple yet meaningful moments—like traveling by train from Chicago to Montana with his oldest grandson, Jackson.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, carrying that same courage and discipline throughout his life.

In 1976, Pat founded Halloran Masonry, Inc., a legacy of hard work and excellence that will celebrate 50 years in June 2026. His entrepreneurial spirit continued as he established Stone Oak Farm in the 1980s, later raising Hereford cattle beginning in 2004. On August 12, 2019, he proudly partnered with his son, Shane Patrick Halloran, working side by side to form Halloran and Son, Inc., continuing a shared legacy rooted in faith, family, and a deep love for the land.

Each year, without fail, Pat began cutting hay on May 2—his birthday—a quiet tradition that spoke volumes about his character: steady, disciplined, and deeply connected to the rhythms of life.

To those who knew him, Pat was unforgettable. His nephews, Colin, described him as “a mountain of a man,” and Evan, said he taught him how to “cuss and pray and how to do them both well,” adding that he was truly larger than life, yet those closest to him knew the tenderness beneath that strength. He was a mentor, a teacher, and a steady presence—someone whose words carried weight and wisdom. When Pat spoke, you listened, because you knew you would walk away better for it.

He had a rare gift for being there when it mattered most. In the final days of many friends, Pat offered comfort, strength, and the quiet reassurance of his presence—never needing recognition, only wanting to serve.

Strong-willed yet deeply tender-hearted, he was fiercely devoted to protecting and providing for his family. His life was one of purpose, integrity, and unwavering love.

Pallbearers will be his six beloved grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are his children, Shane Patrick Halloran, and Shannon Halloran Dalton; son-in-law, Roy Dalton; nephews, Colin Crosby, Evan Crosby, and Mark Halloran.

Pat once wrote:

“My hope, my life’s prayer, was that all of you will follow me. I’m home, I’m safe, I’m in my Jesus’ arms—oh, the unspeakable joy.”

Though his absence leaves an ache in the hearts of many, his love, his faith, and his legacy will live on in all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, EAST, Athens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
