Patricia Ann Brunk

Patrica Ann Brunk, 85, died at the Oaks Nursing Home in Athens on June 15, 2025.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of James and Agnes Hayward and sister of Carol (Hawyard) Banville, all also deceased.

She married Altino Brunk in 1963, raising Timothy, Terence, Paul, Daniel, and David together with her husband until his death in 1980. She is survived by all of her sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren.

She was a lifelong Catholic who loved attending Mass and contemplative prayer.

Her funeral Mass will be held at the University of Georgia Catholic Center at 3.00pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The Mass will be preceded by a short wake beginning at 2.30pm.
