Pamela Whitehead Clark

June 13, 1954 — October 17, 2022

Arnoldsville

Pamela Whitehead Clark, an Athens native, passed away peacefully Monday, October 17, 2022. She was a loving mother to Chris, a proud GG to Owen and Archer, a diehard Georgia fan and a loyal friend to many. She loved fiercely and cared deeply for everyone close to her and was always available for a friend in need.
Pam was a native Athenian and stayed local for her entire life. In her younger years you could find her listening to her husband Wayne play drums at local music venues like the Moose Club with Mike, Linda and Phyllis. Or playing cards with Mike and baking coconut pies with Phyllis. She was a shopper and loved “junkin” and was always looking to add rabbits to her collection.
Her love for her son was obvious to everyone. No one was a bigger cheerleader for him at his dirt bike races. She took an interest in anything he did and supported him fully.
Everything changed once her grand boys, her little munchies, were born. She loved just being with them and would talk about them to anyone that would listen. Even when her health kept her down, she always found fun things for them to do together. Some favorites were driving in her golf cart, digging up treasures, even dinosaur bones, in the yard, water gun fights, shooting the chickens with nerf guns, picking apples, figs and pears off her many fruit trees, hunting Easter eggs year round, and anything and everything in between. She told her best friend Susan her goal was to make it to their 5th birthday. They turned five on September 30, 2022.
She was an animal lover and left behind her faithful companion Daisy Mae.
She made boring things interesting. There will always be a void in our lives now that she is gone. We take comfort in knowing she’s been reunited with her Mama and Daddy, her beloved brother Mike and her husband Wayne.
There won’t be typical service, instead, we will celebrate her life by doing the thing she loved most- cheering on the Bulldogs with all of her loved ones.
