Ora Opal (Whitfield) Bridges

Ora Opal Bridges, age 96, passed away August 10, 2013. Mrs. Bridges was retired from Blue Bell as a seamstress and was very active in the Danielsville Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Bridges; parents, Luther and Bertha Bond Whitfield; and sons, Harold, Ernest, and Jerry.
Survivors include her children, Mary Bennett, Ricky Bridges, and Larry Bridges; seventeen grandchildren; thirty six great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville with the Revs. Palmer Rehberg and Mark Todd officiating. Burial will follow at Bluestone Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Monday, August 12.
