Olyn Lamar Gee, Jr

Olyn Lamar Gee, Jr. was Born in Albany, Ga June 23, 1947, and passed away at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta on November 12, 2023.
Son of the late Olyn L. and Jeannine Gee and also preceded in death by his furry friends, Fizzbo, Peachtree, and Amanda.
He had many interests in life. He worked in retail management, started a Wedding Photography business, and photographed many beautiful weddings. Retired from photography, he began an incredible adventure at UGA where he received degrees in Political Science and Journalism. He tutored athletes, worked at the UGA bookstore, and was a contributor to the Red and Black! He loved the Dawgs!!

A Celebration of life will be on Saturday at 2:00 PM, March 9, 2024, at Athens Church.

Survived by wife of 52 years, Diane McCoy Gee Bogart GA, Daughter Angela Kirby Nash (Sid) Columbia S.C.  Sister LaRue McIntyre (Bill) Nashville TN, Brother-in-Law, Rev. Roger D McCoy (Frances) Greenwood S.C., nephews, nieces, and very special friends.
He is also survived by their much loved Pomeranian, his favorite son, and his best boy Pixel
