Nellie Bramblett

Nellie Rebecca Bramblett, wife of 63 years to the late James Robert “Bob” Bramblett, died on July 31, 2026.

Born June 1, 1940 in Duluth, GA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Ernest Anglin and Pattie Wilkinson Anglin. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bramblett was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Mackenzie Bramblett. She retired from Reliance Electric and was a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two children: Cheryl (Steve) Lambert and Jimmy (Anna) Bramblett; grandchildren: Abby (Mathew) Fuller, Stephen Lambert, Joshua Lambert; 3 great grandchildren and one sister.

Bob’s death occurred during Covid on August 20, 2020 and Mrs. Nellie’s wishes were to have joint service and their urns buried at Oconee Memorial Park. Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11AM at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA with Pastor Tony Vismor officiating with burial to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
