Nancy (Trudy) Lou Garnett Williams, age 82, of Statham, GA was called home to be with The Lord on March 1, 2026. The daughter of the late Milton Reese and Gladys Mae Collier Garnett.
Trudy was a born- again Christian, saved by grace through Jesus Christ known for her kind heart, devotion to her family, and outgoing personality, she always had the biggest heart in the room. Trudy fiercely loved her children and grand children and was immensely devoted to Wilbur for 63 loving years of marriage. She enjoyed being a homemaker and involvement in her Church when able. Although she had years of debilitating pain, she enjoyed trying to do some light yard work maintaining all of her beautiful flowers. She definitely had a green thumb and was happiest outside enjoying her yard and family or sitting in her sunroom watching the birds, butterflies and squirrels.
Trudy grew up in Wilson, NC and spent years moving around with Wilbur’s job transfers. She easily made friends everywhere she went and made a lasting life-long impression on those who had the privilege and honor of getting to know her. Trudy will be remembered by family and friends for her beautiful smile, that sparkle in her eyes, giant loving heart, and all of those warm hugs that she so freely gave. She will never be replaced or forgotten.
Trudy was preceded in death by brother, Earl Garnett and sister, Joan Garnett Lamm.
Trudy is survived by her loving husband; Wilbur Iredell Williams, daughter; Karen Williams Epting, son; Kevin Williams (Mandy), and grandchildren; Jacob Epting, Aidan Williams, Addison Williams, Asher Williams, and many extended family members and friends who were like family who will cherish her memory.
