Morene Fields Holcomb

Comer - Norene Fields Holcomb, 91, died August 10, 2005.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Lola Mae Epps Fields and the widow of James Holcomb. She was a homemaker and a member of Hull Baptist Church. Mrs. Holcomb was preceded in death by a son, James Arthur Holcomb, Sr.; daughter, Patircia Ann Allen; two grandsons, James Arthur Holcomb, Jr. and Mark Coile, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 11:00 AM at Hull Baptist Church. Rev. Randy Crowe will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Paul Holcomb of Carlton, GA; two sisters, Ruth Sorrow and Lyvader McKie; brother, J. C. Fields; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Homemaker Sunday School Class from Hull Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
