Mildred Jeanette Jones

Mildred Jeanette Jones, 82, of Winterville, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Born in Athens to Bill and Josie McDaniel, Mildred lived most of her life in Oglethorpe County. She was a homemaker who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Lonnie McDaniel, and a sister, Betty Jones.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Rudolph Jones; their son, Jeff (Tammy) Jones; grandchildren Brian Jones and Amanda (Cullen) Robinson; and great-grandchildren Lila Grace Robinson and Hunter Wade Robinson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 4, at Athens Memory Gardens at 11:00 a.m.
