Mildred Wood Johnson, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Florence Martin Wood and the widow of Cloyce Johnson. Mrs. Johnson retired from McGregor Company and was a member of Hull Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Hull Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment will be in the Hull Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Floyd Green; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Vickey Johnson: sister-in-law, Myrtis Wood; five grandchildren, Gena Parham, Gordon Gilreath, Kim, Brian and Kristen Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Chase Parham, Garrett Gilreath; a number of nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Lucy.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST is in charge of arrangements.
