Mildred Lee Jacobs

Mildred Lee Jacobs, 80, of Arnoldsville, died on November 19, 2023.

The daughter of the late Charlie Horace Lee and Etha Belle Phillips Lee, Mildred was born and raised in Oconee County. Mildred worked as a cosmetologist until her retirement and was a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church and Watkinsville First Baptist Church. She loved her home life, including gardening, cooking, and caring for her family, especially her beloved husband.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Jacobs, and her sister, Ethel Allen.

Mildred is survived by her son, Charles David Jacobs of Asheville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sherry Smith, RN, of Autumn View Hospice for the tender care she gave Mildred during her final illness.
