Michael Zipperer

Michael Zipperer,31, of Athens, left us on February 10, 2023, much too soon. Michael was a golden light, a talented photographer and beloved by his family and animals. Fearless, kind, and always up for an adventure, he loved exploring old houses and new places. He was a loving son, grandson, little brother, uncle, and friend, and he will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his parents, Sam and Ann Zipperer; brothers, Sam Zipperer (Lainey), Elijah NeeSmith (Allison Hagood); sister, Rachael Harrington; several nieces and nephews; and his forever faithful dog, Camille.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the family residence in Athens, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Friends Animal Society online at https://cofas.org/donate/.
