Michael Anthony Allen

Michael Anthony Allen, age 49, of Athens, Georgia passed away on Thanksgiving Day after a brief illness. He attended Cedar Shoals high school and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors and his loyal German Shepard.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Collins Allen. He is survived by his father Leon (Dori) Allen; brothers, Mark (Robin) Allen, Matthew (Debbie) Allen, Mitchell (Sally) Allen, Marty (Stacy) Allen, and Jake (Gitta) Mowrer; daughter, Faith; nieces, Casey, Brooke , Heather and Ana; nephews, Chad and Olan; and extended family and many friends made during his life adventures.

Visitation begins at 2:30 on Sunday, November 25th at Lord and Stephens, WEST with funeral services immediately following at 4:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at the old Calvary Baptist Cemetery on Harve Mathis Road.
