Melody Salome Booth Kesler, 54, passed away on February 4, 2026, at her home in Hull, Georgia. Born on July 3, 1971, in Athens, Georgia, Melody was deeply involved in her community and devoted to outreach, always seeking ways to serve, encourage, and uplift others.
Melody will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the way she loved fiercely, boldly, and unconditionally—especially when it came to her family and children. A woman of strong Christian faith, Melody loved the Lord deeply and found comfort, hope, and purpose in her relationship with God. Her faith guided the way she lived, loved, and cared for others, and it was evident in her selflessness, generosity, and grace.
Melody created lasting bonds and left an imprint on the hearts of many. Her presence made others feel seen, valued, and loved.
She is survived by her two sons, Grayson Talmadge Kesler and Robert William “Bo” Gannon; her brother, Jason Warren Booth; and countless friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Talmadge Booth and Ramona Hawkes Booth, and her fiancé, Todd Eason Green.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 7, at 10:00 am at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville, with visitation and fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Melody’s honor to TJ & Friends Cancer Foundation:https://tjandfriendsfoundation.com/
