Maurice Tribble, 88, died December 28, 2009.
A native of Madison, AL, he was a son of the late C. A. and Mae Sexton Tribble and was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Maurice Tribble and three brothers, Charles, Fred and Billy, formerly of Huntsville, AL.
Mr. Tribble was employed with Russell-Daniel Irrigation and Ivy-Coile Motors as a master mechanic for many years. He was a member of Forest Heights Baptist Church, a 33rd Degree Mason and an avid fisherman.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Dr. Tom Lang officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Harriett Tribble; three children, Billy Tribble of Nicholson, Bobby Tribble of Athens, and Beth Marquez of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; sister, Nola Edger of Huntsville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Adam Tribble, Beth Anne (Steve) Carson, Shannon (Chris) Johns and Mary Tribble; three great grandchildren, Maggie Carson, Mollie Carson and Emma Carson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
