Mauline Smith Drew

Mauline Smith Drew, a beloved lifelong resident of Carlton, Georgia, passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on April 7, 1929, in Carlton, she dedicated her life to her community and her faith as a lifelong member of Carlton Baptist Church.

Mauline was a cherished daughter of the late Cody K. and Maude Smith, and her family and friends will forever remember her vibrant spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Drew, along with her siblings: Anna Laura Cooper, James C. Smith, Lester T. Smith, and Walter Smith.

Mauline is survived by her loving son, Rickey Drew, and his wife Tara, residing in Carlton, as well as a stepdaughter, Lexi. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.

A visitation will be held at Carlton Baptist Church, located at 100 Church Street, Carlton, GA 30627, on December 31, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at the same location at 2:00 PM. The interment will be in Carlton City cemetery.

Mauline Smith Drew leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and community service that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her warm heart and kind spirit will be deeply missed.
