Mary Buell Yarbrough

Mary Buell Yarbrough, 93, born April 19, 1917, died February 2, 2011. Born in Gainesville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Charley Eldridge and Minnie Lawson Free. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Monroe Yarbrough and infant son, Billy Keith Yarbrough. She was a resident of Quiet Oaks Health Care, Crawford and member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Pastors Nathan Palmer and Hugh Hendrickson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Ashley (Bill) of Athens; son, Jack W. Yarbrough (Sue) of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Estelle Lloyd of Clayton, Ga.; brothers C.E. Free, Jr. (Erma) of Homosassa, Fla. and William Odell Free of Holly, Mich.; 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST, has charge of arrangements.
