Mary Bryant Cofer

Mary Bryant Cofer, 82, wife of 62 years to the late James Samuel Cofer, Sr., died on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Born in Madison County, and a graduate of Madison County High School, she was the daughter of the late David H. Bryant, Sr. and Sarah Jane Lord Bryant. Mary had worked for the Dana Corporation and Smith, Boley, Brown Real Estate.   She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.  Survivors include three sons: Sammy (Teresa) Cofer, Joey (Cindy) Cofer and Jonathan Cofer; brother: John Thomas (Glenda) Bryant; grandchildren: James Cofer, Samantha Cofer, Emily (Bryan) Kohut and two great grandchildren: Jeremiah and Hudson Kohut and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Dr. Cameron Ford officiating.
