It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Giles Foster on June 12, 2026, in Athens, Georgia.
Marjorie was born on January 8, 1939, in Oconee County, Georgia. She enjoyed square dancing and baking and was deeply loved by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. “Pete” Giles and Laurie T. Giles; her husband, Robert M. Foster; her son, David Lee; her sister, Anne Schiffner; her brother, Grady Giles; and her niece, Dana Giesing.
No services are announced at this time.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Ricky) Moss; her grandchildren, Kelli Moss and Kristen Moss; her niece, Laurie Fitzgerald; her great-niece, Anna Fitzgerald; and her great-nephew, Colby Fitzgerald.
